Keep the scoreboard on your home screen
Get to Smyrna Slammers scores with one tap. Follow the steps for your phone below.
Start on the scoreboard homepage, not this guide. Open slammersscoreboard.com in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android.
iPhone · Safari
- Open the scoreboard homepage in Safari.
- Tap Share (the square with an upward arrow). Depending on your Safari layout, you may need to open the page menu or More menu first.
- Scroll through the actions and tap Add to Home Screen. If it is missing, use Edit Actions to add it.
- If you see Open as Web App, turn it on.
- Name it Slammers Scoreboard, then tap Add.
Tap the new icon on your home screen whenever you want to check the scores.
Android · Chrome
- Open the scoreboard homepage in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu at the top right.
- Choose Add to Home screen. Your browser may offer Install or Create shortcut.
- If offered, tap Install. Otherwise choose Create shortcut, name it Slammers Scoreboard, and tap Add. Confirm placement if your phone asks.
A shortcut still gives you one-tap access, even when Chrome does not offer installation as an app.
Need a hand?
If you opened the link inside Facebook, Instagram, or another app, open it in Safari or Chrome first. Menu wording can vary by phone and browser version.
An internet connection is needed to load current scores. Adding the icon does not enable offline scores or notifications.
